• By car

The town of chinchón is about a 45 minute drive from central Madrid or from the airport. We recommend either taking a taxi from the airport/city center or renting a car and driving.

  • Taxi / Uber

Spain does have Uber but it is quite unreliable in Madrid. We recommend using taxis and if you do not speak Spanish, show your driver the destination name or address on your phone. All taxis accept cash and all credit/debit cards. The airport taxi line at arrivals is directly outside baggage claim and much more convenient than trying to connect with Uber drivers at the airport.

  • Car Rental

If you are planning any day trips or travel beyond Chinchón, we recommend renting a car from the airport. Driving in Spain is safe, easy, and a great way to travel throughout the country. When renting a car in Spain you can choose from automatic and manual vehicles. Some companies may require an international driver’s license to rent a car.
